Abstract

This research is constituted of phenomenon that these days human being very is requiring of information to fulfill its requirement. Extending her horizon, at the same time comprehend to domicile and also its role in society. To the number of mass media alternative used to obtain; get information make individual or society have to be more be selective in chosening the the media to fulfill its motif, so that the motif will left nothing to be desired. One of the mass media, specially print is Java Post newspaper. From some opinion indicate that Java Post as one of the media print, getting respon very both for its It. Formula of this research is to know and analyse how big motif and satisfaction of audience in reading Java Post newspaper, and also is there any difference which is significant between satisfaction and motif. Theory which is used in this research that is theory of uses gratification and, because this model represent friction of focus from target of communicator to target of communican, this model determine communicator function in serving audience. This research model non at how far the media can sing different tune and our behavior, but at how far the media can bring into contact social need with requirement of person. Become its pressure is active assumed kaudience, which designedly use mass media to reach specific-purpose. This research use quantitative approach, while its clarification storey;level use research of comparability. Technique data collecting use kuesioner, hence obtained data in analysis use comparison of test and mean of t for the sampel of in pairs. Result of from this research indicate that value of mean variable of motif read Java Post newspaper equal to 4,202 and value of mean satisfaction variable read Java Post newspaper equal to 4,425 showing Java Post newspaper readers have left nothing to be desired with presentation of Java Post newspaper. And between motif with satisfaction there are difference which is significant shown from value -thitung equal to - 8,026 while value of ttabel at level 5% ( 0,05) and df = 49 known equal to - 2,021. Thereby Ho (there no difference which is significant between motif with satisfaction after reading Java Post newspaper) refused, and Ha ( there is difference which is significant between motif with satisfaction after reading Java Post newspaper) accepted. Things able to be suggested related to result of this research is organizer of Java Post expected remain to even more is improving is quality of its presentation as according to requirement of its cutomer to maintain satisfaction all cutomer, because Java Post represent one of the world window can give information which is expressing life of reader in its environment. And also organizer of Post Java Shall more listen carefully and adaptif with situation that and change relate to its readers, to be Java Post newspaper remain to take a fancy to its reader and do not make a move to other newspaper because satisfaction of reader in character relative
