Every employee has their own perception about their organization where they work at. This kind of perception is called organizational climate. There are so many factors that are influenced by organizational climate ; one of which is job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is someone’s feeling toward his or her job. It is necessary to put attention to the satisfaction because it influences job stabilization in a certain organization. Job dissatisfaction leads to indiscipline actions inhabiting the effort to obtain the company’s goal. In another hand, the better climate will be built if the employee have good perception to the organization where they work at. This matter indirectly influences their attitude that is manifested into good performance which is valuable to obtain the company’s goal. As the result the organization will give a good feedback such as bonus, incentive, facilities, improvement, etc to their employees in order to keep the employee’s job satisfaction. The research in descriptive quantitative research. The sample is the whole employees of PT. KAI Persero who have duty in Malang city station Daop. VIII (Population research). The research was held on 6 to 7 January 2009. The data were taken by using Spector’s job satisfaction scale technique (Job Satisfaction Survey) and Robert Stringer’s organization climate scale (Organizational Climate Questionnaire). furthermore, Product Moment Correlation was used as analysis technique. Based on result of data analysis, it was found that there were positive and significant correlation between organizational climate and PT. KAI Persero in Malang city station Daop. VIII Surabaya employee’s job satisfaction as the r = 0,484 (p = 0,000). Therefore, the research proved that there was significant and positive correlation between organizational climate and PT. KAI Persero in Malang city station Daop. VIII Surabaya employee’s job satisfaction. This result showed that if the employees have positive perception to the organizational climate, the job satisfaction will be high, and vice versa. The effective contribution of organization climate to job satisfaction was 23,4%. The order 76,6% was contribution or the other variable s that were not examined.
