Abstract

Technology of mobile communication increase so fast. Its to in this time marked by it various media, that is computer, audio, telecommunications and video. UMTS ( Universal Mobile Telecommunication System) representing one of key to bring telecommunications of wireless to service era of multimedia. UMTS improve of previous system that is GSM with data of high rate ( 2 Mbps for indoor and 384 kbps for outdoor in metropolitan area and also 144 kbps in area of rural). This thesis talk new service able to be applied network of UMTS as service of multimedia by real time called with Video Call. Service of Multimedia Video Call this channel information in the form of picture and voice by using network of internet protocol . IPV6 ( Internet Protocol version 6) representing readdressing technique giving broader address reach so that can promise exploiting of more efficient network resource. Analysis by using parameters : end to end delay, probability of packet and loss of throughput to service standard of multimedia time real so that will improve network performance. Service of multimedia Video Call influenced by CODEC video bandwidth, ever greater ever greater delivered CODEC video bandwidth also service package of multimedia, and so do happened end to end delay and probability of packet loss, but on the contrary natural throughput will smaller.
