Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of craft beads in Jombang district and subdistrict Gudo to know the development of the craft beads. The analysis technique used peliti ie using tabulation is by classifying the data already obtained from distributing questionnaires after classifying researchers will insert into the table later in the analysis. The respondents are bead makers in Sub Gudo Jombang. Respondents included 15 respondents, out of 15 respondents there were various types of artisans, craftsmen who have been large­scale business and there are craftsmen who are still relatively small scale of their business. Besides, the craftsmen also have different revenue it is because there are craftsmen who are just starting their business. In addition the researchers also discuss the revenue on labor and capital. Based on the conclusion, it can be concluded that the bead craftsmen in Jombang district Gudo District did not rely on financial institutions so that when the economic crisis affected not so much of the capital. For the average labor craftsmen have the labor is still a member of the family so not so hard in getting employment. Whereas for earnings it is influenced by themarketing area artisans, craftsmen, if the marketing area large enough then the revenue earned craftsmen have higher.
