Abstract

Research which is background overshadow repair of instruction in the field of mathematics still conducted variously, but its result not yet gratified. This matter is caused by domination conception low student, presentation of items which is monoton and also difficulty of applying of items in everyday life. is therefore used by study model Gal'Perin with approach of contekstual. Study which is process phase learning study divided 4 phase that is orientation, practice, feed back and continuation while approach taken is approach of kontekstual Target of this research is found by apasaja things description at applying model Gal'Perin with approach of kontekstual, learning activities student and reached complete. Research a performed in MTs Baitul Arqom Balung Jember IX-A class student at wide of tube and trapeze surface. Used by Research type is descriptive with approach qualitative and is quantitative. Subyek from this research is IX-A MTS Baitul Arqom Balung Jember class student with amount of student 36 people. Effectiveness of this activity is evaluated from 1) student aktifitas 2) tes result of learning and 3) result of interview. Used by instrument is observation sheet, prestation test learn and interview sheet. Intake of data use observation method, interview and test. And result research with study with Gal'Perin model with approach of student contekstual seen is enthusiastic, owning enthusiasm at Iesson and like to do problem because knowing its benefit in everyday life. But in its of student there is still be less active and multitude in the early study. This matter because of student not yet accustomed to conducted study. Student of activities mount from first study, second and third study, this matter can know from mean percentage every activity. Activity of pay attention teacher 72,22% (active), activity enquire 68,21% (active), activity answer question 66,05% (active), discussion activity 70,37% (active), presentation activity 82,75% (very active), activity do problem 68,21% (active). Suggestion able to be given that applying model Gal'Perin with approach of this kontekstual can be made by study method alternative in study of mathematics. Pursuant to complete analysis data learn there are 30 complete student learned and 6 student which not yet complete learned so that complete presentase of tired klasikal 83,3.
