Abstract
Adolescence is a transition period in human life from childhood to adulthood.
According tothe World Health Organization (WHO) the age limit for adolescents is 12 to 24 years.
Meanwhile, according to the Indonesian Youth Reproductive Health Survey (SKRRI)
adolescence has an age limit for unmarriedpeople around 15 to 24 years. According to the results
of research conducted at the Siko Health Center in Ternate City, there were 20 people who had
90% knowledge and good understanding in taking care of their genetalia. However, there are still
10% who do not have understanding and knowledge due to several factors, one of them is not
having enough time to study.
