Abstract

Bojonegoro regency is demanded to provide the parking area, that will not disturb the traffic land. In the center of main market of Bojonegoro is demanded to provide the appropriate and acceptable parking area to accommodate the visitors vehicle. The limited parking area that provide in main marked of Bojonegoro, cause the using wayside for vertical parking in addition, it also become the bridgehead of pedicab and horse drawn buggy, and also the place to loading and unloading merchandise from vehicle. The lost of boundaries or signal for parking area is possible to decrease the effective and evoke the traffic confusion. From all of the condition about, so we need to conduct the evaluation toward capacity of parking area and to know the performance of traffic-lane in that area. The data evaluation for parking area uses parking capacity pattern by Sowardjoko warpani; parking index pattern and turn area. By Direktorad Jendral Perhubungan Darat. While for performance of traffic land base on Indonesia highway capacity (1997) about joint street in urban. The parking area capacity evaluation result at main market in Bojonegoro as a whole has the base capacity 437 vehicles in actual condition, 318 vehicles has some different duration, for duration 1-60 minutes for 60% vehicles, 60-120 minutes for 27% vehicles, and more that 120 minutes for 8% vehicle. And base on the evaluation results are known that the necessary of parking area at busy time is not enough. It is less 40 compartments while in front of the main market is less 19 compartments. In addition, the performance s of traffic-lane evaluation show some result, those are in front of the main market and Lettu Suyitno street have saturation degree 0,3, while in Imam Bonjol street and Kh. Ashari street have saturation degree 0,2.
