Abstract

See still to the number of applying of study having the character of conventional hence require to perform of renewal to increase the quality of study process , specially study of mathematics. Many something much do to increase the quality of study process. One of by giving a cooperative learning method to make student become more active. Cooperative learning with group investigation method is one of learning which in it can improve student understanding. The purpose of this reseach is to know about student and teacher activities, student respon and result learn student with learning four-side flat model item. this Research type is qualitative descriptive with research subjek is class student of seventh A with 24 student. This research is executed on the 30 May - 6 June 2009 in Islamic Junior High School of Nurur Riyadlah Paiton Probolinggo. Technique intake of this data is use observation, enquette, and tes result of learning. Technique analyse of this research is to use descriptive analysis technique. which limit its generalizing of certain individual group which is observation. This technique is used to analyse data of studen and teacher activity, student respon and of tes learn student by using model study of Group Investigation with percentage. Having taken steps analyse data obtained that the activities of student and teacher with studying of Group Investigation at four-side flat model item as 4 meeting is good because all activity is done by them and student respon to cooperative studying with Group Investigation method is positive. cooperative studying with Group Investigation method the included in complete category, because complete value of result student is 87,4%.
