Abstract

The issues faced by Government Employees with Employment Agreements
(PPPK) in Sumur District and Cimanggu District include career uncertainty, which impacts
their psychological well-being. This uncertainty encompasses concerns regarding contract
renewal, career prospects, feelings of underappreciation, and discrimination related to their
different contract status compared to permanent employees. These issues lead to anxiety,
stress, and reduced productivity, which negatively affect their psychological well-being.
Gratitude acts as a balancing factor that mitigates the negative impact faced by PPPK
employees. This study aims to determine the influence of gratitude on the psychological
well-being of PPPK employees. The research design used is a quantitative non-experimental
approach involving 60 PPPK employees from Sumur District and Cimanggu District,
utilizing a saturated sampling technique. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression.
The results show that gratitude significantly affects psychological well-being, with a
determination coefficient of 0.575, meaning 57.5% of the variability in psychological wellbeing can be explained by the level of gratitude. These findings highlight the importance of
gratitude in enhancing the psychological well-being of PPPK employees. Therefore, it is
recommended to develop programs that encourage gratitude to improve the psychological
well-being of these employees.
