Abstract
The aim of this research is to analyze sanctions against perpetrators of unpleasant acts after Article 335 of the Criminal Code was abolished and to find out legal steps in anticipating unpleasant acts. The type of research used in this research is normative legal research, where this research will examine legal reviews regarding the abolition of article 335 of the Criminal Code concerning unpleasant acts. The approach used in this legal research uses a statutory regulation approach (Statute Approach) and a case approach (Case Approach), where these two approaches will be used to explain sanctions against perpetrators of unpleasant acts after Article 335 of the Criminal Code is abolished. The conceptual approach is used to explain legal steps in anticipating these unpleasant acts. The results of this research explain that the abolition of Article 335 of the Criminal Code by the Constitutional Court aims to avoid abuse and provide better legal certainty. However, this deletion raises concerns about law enforcement against unpleasant acts. Law enforcers must now use other, more specific articles in the Criminal Code and related laws to deal with these acts, such as Articles 310 and 311 for insults and Articles 351 and 352 for physical abuse. People need to understand their rights and obligations as well as the legal consequences of their actions.
