Abstract
This research is motivated by the availability of clean water needs and the amount of wastewater in the construction of the Gresik Sehati Hospital Building. In a building, it is necessary to have a clean water system and wastewater system or commonly called a plumbing system and a fire extinguishing system to prevent the risk of fire in the building. In planning the plumbing system for the Gresik Sehati Hospital Building, data on the required clean water discharge, water tank capacity, design of the pipe clean water and waterwaste systems, and the planning of hydrant system in the building are required. The planning are as follows the clean water requirement flow rate for the Gresik Sehati Hospital is 15.16 m3/hour or 4.21 liter/second, the capacity of the Ground Water Tank for clean water is 48 m3, the capacity of the Ground Water Tank for Hydrant is 150 m3, the capacity of the Roof Tank is 32 m3 and the capacity of the Sewage Treatment Plan is 28 m3. The planned sewage and wastewater disposal system in the Gresik Sehati Hospital is a separate system where the sewage and wastewater are discharged thorough different pipes using PVC pipes. The hydrant system in this hospital uses 3 indoor hydrant boxes/fire hose reek and 4 portable fire extinguisher on each floor and 2 outdoor pillar hydrant.
