Abstract
K-pop is currently become something that is popular within the teenagers in Indonesia. However, along with the spread of K-pop fan community, this is also followed by a lot of verbal aggressiveness shown by fans on social media by giving each other malicious comments to other idols and other fans. A sense of fanatism towards idols and conformity towards fandoms is thought to be the reason for the emergence of this aggressive behavior in teenagers. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of fanaticism and conformity on the verbal aggressive behavior of teenage K-POP fans on social media. The method used in this research is quantitative correlational with data analysis using multiple linear regression. The subjects of this research were 121 K-Pop fans aged between 12-21 years old and actively using social media. The instrument used in this research was the fanaticism and aggressiveness scale. Meanwhile, to measure the conformity variable, a conformity scale. The results showed that there was a significant influence between fanaticism and conformity on verbal aggressiveness (sig 0.00 < 0.05) with an influence value of 34.2%.
