PENGARUH EMPATI TERHADAP PERILAKU PROSOSIAL PADA INDIVIDU YANG PERNAH PADA KONDISI BYSTANDER EFFECT

When people see victims of violence, harassment or traffic accidents, they usually wait for others to help them, some people even choose to become photographers or paparazzi and then share it on social media. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of
empathy on prosocial behavior in individuals who have been in the Bystander Effect condition and to determine whether or not there is an influence of empathy on prosocial behavior in individuals who have been in the Bystander Effect condition. The subjects of this research were students with the criteria that the subjects had seen accidents, bullying or violence. Data was taken using quantitative methods with an accidental sampling model. Based on the results of analysis using a simple linear regression test on data obtained from research subjects, it shows a coefficient of determination of 23.9%. So it is proven that the hypothesis is accepted where there is a positive and significant influence between the influence of empathy on prosocial
behavior in individuals who are in the bystander effect condition simultaneously
