Abstract
Background: A nursing round is an activity aimed at overcoming a client's nursing problems carried out by a nurse with the patient or family actively involved in the discussion by discussing nursing problems and evaluating the results of the actions that have been taken.
Objective: To identify the implementation of nursing rounds in the Bromo ward of Dr. Saiful Anwar, East Java Province, Identifying patient care satisfaction in the Bromo ward of Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital, East Java Province, Identifying the effectiveness of the implementation of nursing rounds on patient care satisfaction in the Bromo ward of Dr. Hospital. Saiful Anwar, East Java Province.
Research Method: The type of research used in this writing is a case study. Case study is a qualitative research method that focuses on in-depth analysis of one or more specific cases in a protection context. Case studies can be used to explore and understand various phenomena, such as individual experiences, group interactions, or implementation of interventions, in real-life contexts and complex situations.
Results: After the nursing round was carried out on April 3 2024, the researchers implemented it to see if the patient had understood what was taught about stoma wound care and was educated regarding nutrition for the patient's healing process by a team of implementing nurses, nurse counselors, primary nurses, room staff and nutritionists. On April 6 2024, it was discovered that the stoma wound had reduced and the blisters were no longer bleeding.
Evaluation: the patient understands what is being taught, the patient and the team follow the round until it is finished, the patient's family asks if there is something wrong or doesn't understand, the patient's stoma wound is a good, moist red color with a size of 2 cm and the level of patient satisfaction increases.
Conclusion: After the nursing round intervention was carried out, significant results were found with the stoma wound starting to improve and the patient's understanding increasing so that the implementation of the nursing round in the Bromo room was very effective.
