RESISTENSI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP DAMPAK PEMBUANGAN SAMPAH (Studi di Kelurahan Wiroborang, Kecamatan Mayangan, Kota Probolinggo, Provinsi Jawa Timur)

Waste is the residue of daily human activities and or natural processes in the form of solid waste Integrated waste management sites are places where waste collection, sorting, reuse, recycling, processing, and final processing activities are carried out. Household waste refers to the diverse types of waste generated by daily activities within the home environment. This includes food waste, plastic packaging. waste paper, boules, and items that are no longer used. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. The selection of subjects in this study used purposive sampling technique. Data collectiorf methods used through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Based on data in the field and analysis of theory using social movements from Charles Tilly. Social movements as a series of continuous acts of resistance on behalf of disadvantaged groups against power holders through various kinds of protests. Collective action begins when a group of people gather and then act or take action collectively. Research results can be concluded regarding community resistance in relocating TPS near residential areas. The community received several appeals by Wiroborang Village and DLH not to move the TPS. The transfer will cause several new problems such as illegal TPS and refusal to cleaners. The kelurahan is constructing the TPS and the waste collection hours will be increased.
