PERAN GABUNGAN KELOMPOK TANI (GAPOKTAN) DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESEJAHTERAAN PETANI (Studi di Desa Mlideg Kecamatan Kedungadem Kabupaten Bojonegoro)

This study aims to identify the role of the Farmers' Group Association (Gapoktan) in enhancing the welfare of farmers in Mlideg Village, Kedungadem Sub-district, Bojonegoro Regency. The research focuses on the role of Gapoktan Tani Maju in Mlideg Village and its impacts on farmer welfare in the area. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling to select subjects knowledgeable about Gapoktan's role in farmer welfare. Data was gathered through primary and secondary sources using observation, interviews, and documentation. Qualitative analysis was conducted systematically to interpret non-numeric data such as interview findings, field notes, and research documents. The findings indicate that Gapoktan Tani Maju serves as a mediator between farmers and the government, enhancing efficiency and facilitating agricultural needs. Programs provide access to business capital, modern agricultural equipment, and affordable prices to meet production needs. These initiatives have led to increased agricultural productivity, particularly in rice production, contributing to local food security and higher farmer incomes. Infrastructure development like roads and irrigation has improved distribution efficiency and supported economic and social development in Mlideg Village.
