Abstract

Background: Graduating on time is also an indicator of student success in completing their studies. Students can be said to have graduated on time if they can complete their studies within 4 years at undergraduate level. The impact of not graduating on time can reduce early confidence, perhaps feeling frustrated or doubting your abilities because you cannot complete your studies on time. This research aims to determine the picture of timely graduation among nursing students at Muhammadiyah University of Malang.
Method: The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research, namely research carried out to photograph a condition or phenomenon that occurs in a certain subject group. This research uses the 2017-2019 Alumni Data Base. The sample used in this research was 114 students from the class of 2017, 90 students from 2018, and 75 students from 2019.
Results: The research results show that more than half of the students from the classes of 2017 and 2019 managed to graduate on time (in 4 years). In the 2017 class, 114 people (56.7%) graduated on time, while in the 2019 class, 75 people (55.5%) graduated on time.
Conclusion: Researchers concluded that there was a positive trend where the majority of students were able to complete their studies within the expected time.
