The AUKUS Pact is a military cooperation agreement between Australia, England and the United States which focuses on the development of military technology, especially developing nuclear-powered submarines. The theory used is the Maritime Security theory put forward by Goeffrey Till and focuses on maritime military power which is used to provide maritime security analysis in the South China Sea Region. The methodology usedby this researcher is descriptive by collecting data in the form of Library Research.
The results of this research show that the influence of the AUKUS pact has caused prolonged conflict or friction between countries in Southeast Asia and created conflict friction which disrupted the stability of maritime security in the South China Sea. Not only that, countries around the South China Sea also increased their weapons due to the impact of increasing heated tensions in the South China Sea dueto the AUKUS pact
