Abstract
This research aims to explain Poland's efforts to provide protection to Ukrainian refugees in 2022. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method to conduct data analysis techniques using materials obtained from a number of documents including journals, articles, and news related to the researcher's title. The concepts of public policy and humanitarian refugees as research analysis tools, where Poland in providing protection should involve policy-making and follow several important aspects such as meeting basic needs (food, clean water, comfortable shelter, health services, and education) and providing refugees with legal protection. The results of this study show that Poland has followed the European Council Implementing Decision 2022/382 by enacting the act on assistance to Ukrainian citizens, which guarantees refugees shelter, financial and non-financial assistance, the provision of PESEL identification numbers on par with Polish citizens to gain access to health services, employment, and education.
