Abstract

Security initially only focused on high-political issues, but to answer social problems, security issues then shifted the focus to humans. The concept of human security includes a feeling of freedom from physical threats and the fulfillment of basic human needs. Sexual harassment is a violation of human security, especially personal security. In Michel Foucault's theory of power relations, 3 factors cause sexual violence, namely power relations, social construction, and targets of power. This type of research is descriptive and qualitative by searching for data using documentation studies sourced from journals, books, theses, articles, websites, and so on. The research results show that the theoretical factors of power relations in the Kris Wu sexual violence case include patriarchal social construction, the target of power being Du Meizhu, and the power relations that Kris Wu has in the form of social capital obtained from his career success. The persistent dominance of patriarchy and discursive practices that support the oversexualization of women create an environment that is conducive to sexual violence. Women who are victims of sexual violence tend to be blamed and shift responsibility for the case away from the perpetrator.
