PENYELESAIAN PERKARA TINDAK PIDANA PENGANIAYAAN WASIT SEPAK BOLA LIGA INDONESIA DI PERTANDINGAN NZR SUMBERSARI FC VS FARMEL FC

Problems that often occur in soccer are riots between supporters, fights between team officials, fights between players, and even beatings or persecution of referees. This is as happened in the case of beating the referee in the National League 3 match between NZR (Nazaro) Sumbersari FC vs Farmel FC at the Gajayana Stadium in Malang on February 9, 2022. This study aims to discuss the obstacles in the settlement of criminal cases in the case of persecution of Indonesian League football referees in the NZR Sumbersari Vs Farmel FC match, and discuss the mechanism for resolving criminal cases in the case of persecution of Indonesian League football referees as intended. The method used in this research is sociological juridical research, which is research that aims to obtain legal knowledge empirically by going directly to the object. The results showed that the obstacles in the settlement of criminal cases in the persecution of Indonesian League football referees were more on the legal aspect, namely the intersection between national law and legal instruments regulated by FIFA and PSSI internally. Although the criminal case settlement process in the case of persecution of the referee by the NZR Sumbersari player finally ended peacefully. The settlement of the case through penal mediation can be an example for cases that may occur in the future in the world of soccer, because in the provisions of Article 70 of the PSSI Statute regarding Jurisdiction it is emphasized that it is not allowed for a problem in internal football including cases of violence to be brought to the State Court, and those who have the authority to resolve problems are internal PSSI.
