Abstract
A Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) is an online course that can be accessed by anyone from anywhere. These courses utilize internet technology and online platforms, such as websites, to provide access to learning materials, videos, and discussion forums, enabling participants to learn independently and flexibly. Learn For Future is a startup implementing the MOOC concept by offering paid online courses in design and coding, accessible through their website. In its initial development stage, Learn For Future focused primarily on the learning aspect for users, resulting in unappealing content, poor accessibility, lengthy payment processes, and a lack of completion certificates. The aim of this research is to implement Design Thinking in the development of the UX for the Learn For Future website and to test the application using task scenarios and the System Usability Scale (SUS). Design Thinking is a problem-solving framework that generates innovation by emphasizing an understanding of user needs and creating user-oriented solutions. This user-centered approach allows for more innovative and creative development, focusing on complex problems and emphasizing creativity and flexibility. It is a powerful tool for promoting innovation compared to other methods. The outcome of this research is a prototype design that has been tested with task scenarios and the System Usability Scale. The task scenario results yielded a report score of 97 from 5 testers, and the SUS score was graded "A" and deemed "Acceptable".
