Abstract
Female employees who experienced prolonged work family conflict will have an impact on decreasing their performade. Being an employee and a housewife is a big responsibility for a woman. Work family conflict is one of the factors that can influenced the performade of female employees. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of work family conflict on the performade of female employees. The research method used is non-experimental quantitative with a non-probability sampling method using the accidental sampling techniques. The criteria that subject must have are women who actively working, married and have children. The total subjects in this study were 111 subjects. The research instruments used is the Work and Family Conflict Scale (WAFCS) to measure work family conflict and the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ) to measure the performance of female employees. In this research, the resulted shown are that there is a significant influenced between work family conflict on the performade of female employees. This showed that the higher level of work family conflict, the lower the employee performade produced and conversely, the lower level of work family conflict, the higher the employee performade produced. The implication of this research are female employees are expected to maintain a balanced roles in caring family and carrying out work. For institution are expected to be able to create policies or programs for work life in the form of balancing family and work.
