KAJIAN KRIMINOLOGIS KEKERASAN SEKSUAL TERHADAP SISWA OLEH GURU (Studi di Polresta Malang Kota)

Sexual violence in the educational environment against students is a serious problem that tarnishes human dignity; in this case, the handling of this case must be addressed firmly and seriously. This research focuses on finding out the factors that shape the perpetrator's intention to commit sexual violence and efforts to overcome sexual violence against students by teachers. The aim of this thesis research is to examine the criminological factors that shape the intentions of perpetrators of sexual violence and efforts to overcome cases of sexual violence against students in the educational environment of Malang City. The research method used is empirical, with data obtained through interviews and literature study. The collected research data were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. Based on the results that have been analyzed in cases of sexual violence against students committed by teachers, it is known that there are 2 important factors that cause sexual violence, namely juridical and non-juridical factors; juridical factors are more about society's understanding of perpetrators of sexual violence against students. The substance of the law and law enforcement officers who must be firm in enforcing the law, whereas in a non-juridical context, physical attraction and environmental factors are the main factors causing crime. These factors have a big influence on the behavior of perpetrators in committing sexual violence. In efforts to tackle sexual violence, the Malang City Police have carried out countermeasures such as strict law enforcement and cooperation in outreach, counseling, and rehabilitation activities. These prevention efforts are also not fully effective because there are still many people who do not understand what has been implemented in efforts to overcome sexual violence.
