Abstract
This research explains the Turkish government's policies in dealing with the economic crisis of 2018-2023, as well as understanding the crisis response tactics and policies by the Turkish government during this period, and their impact on the country's economic factors. This research assesses the effectiveness and failure of the strategies used. This research uses the concept of Thomas R Dye by using six stages of public policy including Identification of policy problems. Agenda setting (agenda setting) Policy formulation (policy formulation) Policy ratification (legitimating of policies) Policy implementation. Policy evaluation. In this research, the author uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Overall, the policy of the CBRT shows improvement in controlling inflation in 2023, which shows partial success and needs further adjustment. The Turkish government's policies in dealing with the 2018-2023 economic crisis, especially through the monetary policy implemented by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, reflect varied efforts. During the 2018-2023 period, the CBRT took significant measures, including interest rate adjustments to control high inflation. With interest rate tightening as one of the main instruments.
