ANALISA KELAYAKAN USAHA DAN PRODUKSI PENGGEMUKAN KAMBING JAWARANDU DENGAN PENAMBAHAN TEPUNG TEMULAWAK (Curcuma xhanthorrhiza) DALAM PAKAN DI DESA KAWEDUSAN KECAMATAN PLOSOKLATEN KABUPATEN KEDIRI

This study aims to determine the feasibility of goat production by giving curcuma flour as feed additive and analyzing business feasibility. This study used 12 male Jawarandu goats aged 8-12 months that were kept for 90 days. The research method used is the survey method and direct observation with data collection techniques carried out trough observation, accompanied by recording. The results showed average body weight P0 57,8 g/head/day and P1 81,6 g/head/day, average feed consumption P0 930,4 g/head/day and P1 972 g/head/day, average feed conversion P0 2,53 and P1 1,87, average feed efficiency P0 36% and P1 50%. The results of business analysis on both treatments showed that the P1 treatments was more profitable for farmers with an income of Rp 6.182.050,- and the highest R/C and B/C values in P1. The provision of curcuma flour in feed increased PBBH, and consumption and decreased feed conversion. The results of farmers income with the treatment of adding curcuma flour in feed have more favorable results.
