Abstract

Problem: This study aims to address the issue of low literacy in reading among children aged 4-7 by using a UX Journey design solution tailored to user needs to create new enthusiasm through a design that considers several key principles. Method: The UX Journey method was employed in this research to evaluate user experience and take into account findings from previous studies that emphasize principles affecting user comfort, interest, and ease of use. Results: The results of this study were tested using A/B Testing and acceptance criteria fulfillment. The "Belajar Membaca" application has met user needs. The improved features demonstrated noticeable differences compared to the benchmark application. Conclusion and Development: The findings of this study indicate that the UX Journey method can be applied to design solutions, as it provides favorable outcomes and aligns with user needs by successfully implementing key principles. This approach can optimize design solutions and contribute to the advancement of literacy learning.
