Abstract

This research aims to find out the program of activities of the IGAMA Foundation (Ikatan Gaya Arema Malang) and the benefits of the presence of this Foundation for like-minded groups in Malang City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with the type of case study. In this study, data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The validity test of the data used in this study is the credibility test. The results of this study found that (1) There are two programs to prevent HIV/AIDS transmission among gay people, namely in general and in particular. From the results of this activity program, there has been a network of gay people who were previously unknown. Para gay ini kemudian diberikan pendampingan untuk tes kesehatan seksualnya. (2) There is cooperation between several government and private institutions in carrying out programs to prevent HIV/AIDS transmission in this group. (3) The presence of this Foundation has provided benefits for gay groups and the community by presenting various positive activity programs. So it can be said that the program to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS to gay groups or LSL (Men Sex Men) in Malang City has been successful.
