Abstract
Human resources are the key to success in an organization. Efforts to develop
human resources include job rotation. To improve the quality of performance, one
of them is the work environment. This study aims to analyze the effect of job
environment and job rotation on employee performance and the mediating effect
on job satisfaction. The research was conducted at the Perwakilan BKKBN of
Central Kalimantan using a questionnaire to a sample of 40 ASNs with the PLS-
SEM analysis technique. The research results show that there is a significant effect
of job environment with job satisfaction. However, the job environment has no
significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, the job rotation variable
shows an insignificant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. The
results of the indirect influence analysis show that job satisfaction is not proven to
mediate the work environment and job rotation on employee performance
