ANALISIS FRAMING MEDIA ONLINE WALHI.OR.ID TERHADAP PEMBERITAAN ECO-CITY REMPANG

Every news presentation must always be different following the background of the media that issued the news. Because every media has a perspective on an event according to its interests and ideology. On the other hand, journalists as people who see an event directly also have a way to write news so that there will be parts that are highlighted in an event and there are parts that are omitted.
This research was conducted to find out the framing of online media walhi.or.id in reporting the case of the construction of the Rempang Eco-City project. Analyzing four news for the period of August – October 2023. Using Robert N. Entman's model framing analysis theory. The researcher grouped each news according to the analysis tool of Robert N Entman's model, namely Define problem, Diagnose causes, Make moral judgement, Treatment recommendation. By conducting an analysis, it can be concluded that the framing results walhi.or.id are. Write news in favor of the community and remain the opposition of the government when there are actions and policies that cause environmental damage. In every news report, Walhi tries to fight for environmental sustainability, land rights owned by the community, and provides education that the development policy taken by the government is not right
