ANALISIS KELAYAKAN FINANSIAL BUDIDAYA MELON SISTEM GREENHOUSE DI KECAMATAN WATES KABUPATEN BLITAR

Melon production can be developed in various regions of Indonesia provided the land is suitable for melon plants. East Java is the center of melon production in Indonesia. Climate change is one of the causes of the decline in melon production. This has several negative impacts, namely increased pest and disease attacks. The long dry season causes costs during production to increase. Efforts made by agriculture in Wates District, Blitar Regency are by adopting innovations that can reduce the impact of climate change, namely cultivating melons using a greenhouse system. Based on the costs incurred by farmers and the farmer's income during greenhouse system melon production, can it be said that it is feasible to continue doing it or not. The aim of this research is to determine the financial feasibility analysis of greenhouse system melon cultivation in Wates District, Blitar Regency. The location of this research was carried out in Wates District, Blitar Regency. The data collection method used was interviews. The samples used were from three different villages in one sub-district. Based on these three villages. The results of the financial feasibility analysis show that greenhouse system melon cultivation in Wates District, Blitar Regency is feasible according to the NPV investment criteria. Net B/C.
