KERJASAMA KEMENTERIAN KESEHATAN RI DENGAN USAID DALAM MENANGANI KEMATIAN IBU DAN BAYI DI KABUPATEN JEMBER

This research aims to explain the efforts of the Indonesian Ministry of Health collaboration with USAID in reducing maternal and infant mortality rates in Jember Regency. The increase in maternal and infant mortality rates has become a very important issue faced by the Indonesian state. USAID provides technical assistance to improve maternal and newborn health services as well as funding for the Momentum Private Healthcare Delivery (MPHD) program. The Indonesian Ministry of Health and USAID are working together to achieve a reduction in maternal and infant mortality rates. This research method is qualitative research to reveal descriptively. This research was carried out at the Jember Regency Government office in December 2023. The data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation and literature study. The results of this research are collaboration between the Indonesian Ministry of Health and USAID in reducing maternal and infant mortality rates resulting in the MPHD program running from 2021-2023. By using the concept of international cooperation and foreign assistance, this program is facilitated by international actors and implemented through the central government.
