STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DARING SELAMA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI SMA HANG TUAH 5 SIDOARJO, JAWA TIMUR

Since the spread of the Covid-19 virus, educational institutions have been forced to innovate their learning processes. One form of innovation is through online or distance learning. Communication strategies must also incorporate appropriate communication models to enhance the effectiveness of online learning. The objective of this research is to investigate teachers' communication strategies in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The study will adopt a qualitative approach. This method provides a comprehensive and detailed scientific presentation of complex phenomena. Communication involves considering who the communicator is, what messages will be conveyed, which media will be used, and how to ensure effectiveness in achieving objectives. Regarding communication barriers during online learning, challenges include a lack of understanding in using learning applications, signal disruptions, incompatible electronic devices, and limited internet quota availability. In the educational process, effective communication significantly influences the quality of service a teacher provides to students and consequently affects the learning outcomes.
