Abstract
The Qur'an is a collection of fundamental teachings that serve as a manual for living and include several communication events. Among these is the instance of da'wah communication through interpersonal communication found in the prophets Ya’qub and Ibrahim's inspirational narrative. The scope of this study is restricted to examining the messages included in da'wah and how pertinent da'wah communication is to interpersonal communication in Surah Al-Baqarah 130-134 of the Al-Qur'an.
Basic communication messages, such as those pertaining to aqidah, sharia, and morality, are conveyed through da'wah. Interpersonal communication, which takes the form of two-way discourse, can be utilized to convey da'wah messages. Since there is an active discussion process between the two parties involved, this kind of communication is seen to be the most effective in altering human attitudes, opinions, or behaviour. The communicator, message, channel/media, communicant, effect/feedback, and communicant are communication aspects of interpersonal communication.
By reducing, evaluating, and presenting the data in a descriptive manner, this study employs a content analysis method to derive findings. This study uses a qualitative, non-interactive approach and descriptive research techniques to analyze the content of the da'wah message found in Surah Al-Baqarah 130–134 of the Al-Qur'an. The Tafsir of Imam Ibnu Katsir serves as the basis for this analysis.
The study's findings indicate that the Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Baqarah 130–134 conveys three important messages: the message of aqidah, the message of syar'iyah, and the message of morality. These messages together strongly suggest that monotheism(tawheed) must be transmitted from generation to generation. Furthermore, the importance of da'wah communication through interpersonal communication as a whole system was discovered, allowing messages to be understood and "imbued" by the communicator.
