Abstract
Every professional field prioritizes good communication to achieve its objectives. Communication is the process of delivering information, ideas, or feelings between parties. In the healthcare world, including veterinary care, communication is essential for providing direction, education, and information to clients about their pets' conditions. Effective communication helps clients understand their pets' conditions and improves the relationship and reputation of the clinic. This research aims to understand the Implementation of Service Communication at Fan Vet Petcare Clinic and Pet Shop (A Study on Veterinarians and Paramedics in the Application of Standard Operating Procedures for Communication at Fan Vet Petcare Clinic and Pet Shop, Wringinanom Gresik, East Java). The study employs a qualitative approach and case study method with interviews and observations. Data were analyzed using politeness theory. The results of the study reveal how Fan Vet Petcare implements standard operating procedures for Communication and the Gathering evaluation system to enhance services. The Communication Standards applied align with politeness theory, which explains and predicts the strategies used by individuals to maintain face in implementing standard operating procedures for communication with clients.
