ANALISIS DAYA SAING USAHATANI BAWANG MERAH DI DESA TAWANGSARI KECAMATAN PUJON KABUPATEN MALANG

Shallots are a vegetable commodity that has high economic value in terms of meeting national consumption and a source of income for farmers. Competitiveness is important for a commodity or industry to survive in this free market era. Competitive advantage explains that a country that has a high level of competition between domestic companies will encourage the formation of competitive advantage in a country. So this research aims to: 1) analyze the competitiveness of shallot farming in Tawangsari Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency. 2) analyze the comparative advantage and competitive advantage of shallot farming in Tawangsari Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency. In this research, the Policy Analysis Matrix approach is used. The results of the PAM analysis of private profits provide a positive incentive for farming of IDR. 550,921,125 . Economic benefits can be seen from the social benefits of farming amounting to Rp. 1,062,770,510. The divergence value is IDR. -511,849,385 which is negative. Tawangsari Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency has a comparative advantage of 0.08, so shallot farming in Tawangsari Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency has competitiveness.
