Abstract

Digitalization is very important in 21st century learning. Optimizing the use of digitalization also needs to be balanced with optimizing 4C abilities, especially critical thinking abilities. This research aims to develop ethnomathematics media using quizizz for critical thinking skills in inquiry-based flat-sided geometric material at junior high school level. The subjects in this research were 50 students in class IX of Al-Hassan junior high school, Balikpapan, in the 2023/2024 academic year, even semester. The method used is the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) with a Concurrent Embedded Design research type with a quantitative approach as the primary method. Data collection was taken from interviews, tests and questionnaires. Meanwhile, data analysis uses Likert scale calculations and N-Gain values. Based on the research results, it shows that research media is included in the quite valid category with a score of 2,63 for the material aspect and score 2,9 for the media aspect, the practical category is used without revision with a score of 3.01 for application in learning, and is effective on students' critical thinking abilities with an N-gain score of 0 .57 which is included in the medium category. Therefore, ethnomathematics media using inquiry-based quizizz to improve critical thinking skills at junior high school level is declared suitable for use in the learning process.
