Abstract
Cancer is one of the most deadly diseases, such as Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. ALL, which stands for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, is often found in children, but adults can develop Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia too. A bone marrow-derived disease in which white blood cells multiply uncontrollably. However, diagnosing Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia diseases is labor-intensive and time-consuming. This research aims to detect Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with the OTSU THRESHOLDING method. This method converts an image to black and white by comparing the threshold value with the color value of the pixels in the picture. OTSU THRESHOLDING converts images using threshold values automatically to black and white. It is when the threshold value is compared with the pixels' color value. The details of the process involve doing the stages to do the pre-processing. After that, segmentation will be carried out using pre-processing results, which only focus on an image and are followed by the segmentation process. From the segmentation results, accuracy will be calculated using the confusion matrix. The goal of this research is to produce high-quality images.
