PENGARUH KONTROL DIRI DAN ORIENTASI MASA DEPAN TERHADAP PERILAKU PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN PRIBADI DENGAN PENDAPATAN SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI PADA GENERASI Z

This study investigates the financial management behavior of Generation Z aged 19-25 years. This study also analyzes the relationship between self-control, future orientation, and self - control and future orientation moderated by income. The object of this research is the generation Z in Malang, East Java, and uses a purposive sampling technique. The number of respondents obtained was 100 respondents by distributing questionnaires online. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques and moderation regression analysis. The results of the study show that self-control and future orientation have a positive and significant effect on the financial management behavior of Generation Z, but if self-control and future orientation are moderated by income, they have no effect on the financial management behavior of Generation Z. This is due to the level of income and the number of dependents. different for each individual besides that high income does not guarantee the individual has a future orientation from now on.
