Abstract

In an organization there are often changes in demands for regulations and work results that cause pressure - pressure that employees must face in the work environment. The fatal impact of pressure that can harm an employee is called stress. Some factors in the workplace that can cause stress are called stressors. Stressors can be situations, conditions or events that are considered threatening to individual abilities. There are several factors in the workplace that can cause stress for employees. Stressors in the workplace can be interpreted as situations or events that occur in the workplace that cause employees to enter a state of anxiety or tension. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of neuroticism personality with workplace stressors. The subjects used in this study amounted to 100 subjects spread across each region. The sampling used was accidental sampling. The research instrument used was the neuroticism short version questionnaire and workplace stressors, namely physical environmental stressors, individual stressors, group stressors and organizational stressors. The results of the analysis that there is an influence of neuroticism personality tendencies on employees against stressors in the workplace.
