Abstract
This industry is still the key and the answer for the economic development of developing countries (developing countries) to catch up with developed countries (developing countries). Industrial conditions like this are things that have an impact, especially for the surrounding community. The purpose of this research is to find out the form of community response to the impact of waste
The research method used in writing the thesis is using a qualitative method with a case study approach. Subject determination technique using snowball sampling. The location of this research is in Mancilan Village, Mojoagung District, Jombang Regency. The data collection used is interview, observation, documentation. This study was analyzed using social construction theory by Peter L. Beger. The results of this study indicate the form of community response to the impact of waste and there are 3 hamlets affected, namely Mojoasri, Ngrowo and Slombok. This of course gave rise to comments and complaints from the affected people after receiving CSR or assistance from PT Factory, CJ Feed Jombang. Then the residents began to get used to the smell of the waste.
