Abstract

(Background) COVID-19 is a respiratory illness caused by a virus SARS-Cov 2 and has been declared a nationwide pandemic especially in Indonesian. Transmission of COVID-19 occurs very quickly which comes from a person's droplets when coughing, sneezing, and talking. To break the chain of transmission of COVID-19, preventive measures must be prioritized, one of which is by using masks. The use of masks can protect yourself and others from transmitting and contracting the COVID-19 virus. Knowledge about COVID-19 affects a person in using a mask as an effort to prevent COVID-19.
(Purpose) The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of the use of masks as prevention of COVID-19 in Management students at Muhammadiyah University of Malang.
(Research method) This research uses descriptive methods with a quantitative approach with the sampling technique used in this research is Non-probability sampling with 100 respondents..
(Results and Conclusion) Based on the results of the research on the level of knowledge of mask use among Management students at Muhammadiyah University of Malang, 45% of respondents were in the "Good" knowledge category, 43% of respondents were in the "Fair" knowledge category and 12% of respondents were in the "Lack" knowledge category.
