Abstract
The 4B Movement (Bihon, Bichulsan, Biyeonae, Bisekseu) is a movement formed by feminists to defend justice and gender equality. Due to the high patriarchal culture in South Korea, it eventually gave rise to the 4B movement with the aim of challenging the existing patriarchal system. This research uses a qualitative method, which is then examined with the aim of gaining an understanding of how the 4B movement started, and how the phenomenon of radical feminism or 4B can run and develop in South Korea. This movement was not only about rejecting men, but also about creating a new way of life based on equality and independence. It has sparked important conversations about gender roles and gender inequality, and has inspired women around the world to fight for their rights and freedoms.
