PENGARUH RESILIENSI TERHADAP STRES PADA GENERASI SANDWICH

Being a sandwich generation has a big responsibility because it has to carry the responsibilities of 2 or more generations at the same time. It is important for the sandwich generation to have good resilience to cope with the stress arising from the burden received. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of resilience on stress in the sandwich generation. The research method is quantitative non-experimental correlational with non-probability sampling technique, using incidental sampling method with the subject criteria that subjects have income and provide for 2 or more generations (sandwich generation), the total subjects in this study were 102 subjects. The research instruments were the Connor Davidson-Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) to measure the level of resilience and the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-42) but only stress items were used to measure stressed levels. The results of data analysis using the simple linear regression analysis method showed that there is a significant effect of resilience on stress. There is an impact of resilience on stress with a significance value = 0.000. This shows that there is a significant effect of resilience on stress, the higher the level of resilience, the lower the individual stress level.
