PENGARUH KECEMASAN TERHADAP DATING VIOLENCE PADA REMAJA AKHIR

Adolescence is a period that is synonymous with searching for identity and social recognition. Dating has become a trend among young people in the current era. Conflict with a partner is normal, but if behavior in conflict uses violence, then this becomes unnatural. One of the reasons for violent behavior in dating is anxiety and fear of being abandoned by your partner. This study aims to determine whether anxiety influences dating violence in late adolescents. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational design that uses simple linear regression analysis calculations. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 150 people. The scale used to measure anxiety is the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale, while the dating violence scale uses the Conflict in Adolescent Dating Relationships Inventory. The results of the research show that there is an influence between anxiety and dating violence both in carrying out and experiencing dating violence behavior.
