Abstract
The formation of a social movement often produces other movements that reverse or oppose the initial social movement itself. Likewise with the existence of anti-feminism which is the antithesis of feminism. South Korea as a country with a striking trend of anti-feminism is worth studying. Starting from the spread of Confucianism, which often intersects with feminist thought, it is then supported by the perpetuation of gender-biased government policies to this day, which seems to allow anti-feminism movement groups like Men on Solidarity and Dang Dang We to continue to grow. This article was written with the aim of seeing how the anti-feminist movement was formed in South Korea with case studies of the Men on Solidarity and Dang Dang We. The conceptual theory used in this research is the concept of collective identity and anti-feminism. Qualitative descriptive methods were also used in this research. It was found that the Dang Dang We and Men on Solidarity groups were formed because key aspects of collective identity were fulfilled.
