The clinical picture of Tinea versicolor itself is in the form of a macule that has fine scales with hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation. Areas that are often at risk are the neck, trunk and proximal extremities. Tinea versicolor itself is a condition that can be found in all corners of the world, but it is more common in warm or hot and humid climates.
Objective: To find out what risk factors are associated with the incidence of tinea versicolor in street vendors in Sampang Regency.
Method: The type of research used in this research uses observational analytics with a cross-sectional approach.
Result: Family history has a significant relationship with the incidence of tinea versicolor, Nutritional status (BMI) does not have a significant relationship with the incidence of tinea versicolor and Personal hygiene is a risk factor that influences the incidence of tinea versicolor.
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship from endogenous risk factors such as family history and personal hygiene but there is no relationship with nutritional status (BMI) on the incidence of tinea versicolor in street vendors in Sampang Regency.
