Abstract
Fresh graduate students have new development tasks after graduating from college. To fulfill their development tasks, it is important for students to have good life satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between social comparison and life satisfaction in fresh graduate students looking for work. This research uses a quantitative method with an accidental sampling technique with subjects as many as 119 fresh graduate students who live in the city of Malang. The instruments used were the Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Measure Propose (INCOM) and The Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). The correlation test was carried out using Pearson product momentum. The research results show that there is a negative relationship between life satisfaction and social comparison in fresh graduate students looking for work.
