Abstract
Storage cabinets that are still conventional using locks and without restrictions on who can access them make storage cabinets vulnerable to theft. Thieves usually open the storage cabinet by breaking the lock. To protect documents and other valuable assets from being lost, it is necessary to install a more stringent access security system to open storage cabinets. With the advancement of technology today, body parts can be used as a unique identity to be used as an access security system. The access security system using this method is quite good because it can recognize the physical characteristics of the owner when opening the storage cabinet. Technological advances in the field of security systems will have a huge impact on the security of valuables in the storage cabinet itself. Because in the future this technology will become a consumption or secondary need of individuals or people universally, so that users or users will find it easier to carry out activities outside without worrying about valuables in abandoned storage cabinets. The use of a security system when opening a storage cabinet is considered necessary to improve security, including by using an Arduino-based electronic circuit application.
