Abstract

Increased awareness of the importance of education for women has resulted in increased participation of women in the world of work, especially in Indonesia. The challenges faced by female workers, especially married ones, in achieving a balance between their work and personal lives are still a relevant issue. This study aims to investigate the impact of work involvement on the balance between work life and personal life in married female workers.
This research aims to see the influence of the level of employee engagement on work life balance in married female workers. The research method used is a quantitative approach using
simple linear regression. The subjects of this research were 147 female employees who had previously been married and were collected through distributing questionnaires to participants. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant influence between the level of employee engagement and work life balance in married female workers (p < 0.05).
The results of the hypothesis test show that employee engagement has a positive effect on work life balance in the population studied, with an R square of 38.2%, which indicates that most of
the variability in work life balance can be explained by the level of work involvement. Thus, the hypothesis in this research can be accepted.
